Lamination
Lamination is essential in flexible packaging in order to create containers that meet the demands for protection, design and functionality in a wide range of packaging applications.
We offer optimal packaging structures for a wide variety of products
Lamination is an essential process in order to provide different properties for product packaging. This requires the combination of two or more layers of plastic film, paper or aluminium, which greatly improves packaging properties.
Sometimes there is no single material that meets all of the requirements for a product to be preserved. Therefore, the optimal structure for packaging is achieved through a combination of different materials with different properties.

Advantages of our lamination process:
When to use lamination without solvents
The system without solvents is the most common technique in the industry. We use high-performance adhesives without solvents that ensure efficiency in most applications, which optimises costs and has a lower environmental impact.
These adhesives came about as a way to:
- Reduce the environmental impact caused by solvent evaporation.
- Improve the energy efficiency of water-based adhesives.
Given their high viscosity, these adhesives are generally subjected to 70-100ºC temperatures to improve their machinability. These features highlight the efficiency and advantages of lamination without solvents during production.
When to use solvent-based lamination
The best resistance for extreme processes such as pasteurisation
Solvent-based lamination is used in those situations where extreme lamination is necessary due to post-packaging processing, such as pasteurisation, as it provides an adhesive layer that is resistant to extreme conditions. Its long-lasting protection features make it especially recommended for intensive processing to guarantee that it will remain intact and effectively protect the content.
